16 Days Before Chirstmas

christmas is by far my favorite holiday of the year. it brings back so many great memories of my childhood, although i grew up much closer to the equator i loved christmas just as much. i have vivid memories of going to mass at 11 p.m. on christmas eve wearing a brand new dress and then rushing home to play with the sparkles. i remember looking away for a split second and then next thing i knew my dress was on fire. grandma was none too pleased i had set my pretty new dress on fire and i got a butt kicking for that. she made me change to a regular dress on and let me go back outside to play with more sparkles and fire works.

life sucks.. wait it just got better.. martha is on tv!

so much going on right now, haven't had much time to sit down and write. life is busy not the good busy kind, this is the never ending stress kind induced by what seems to have become a dead-end job.

so whatever i was going to write about just completely escaped my mind thanks to one of my favorite shows, whatever martha. martha herself is a guest on the show. although i can never attempt to be martha, i absolutely luvs her. i luvs her a-personality, her drive to keep going, her business savvy. you just cannot hate a woman that has made an empire out of everyday things.

alexis (martha's daughter) is just like her momma. i luvs her too.
